This Privacy Notice explains how SGF Australia Pty Ltd ("SGF Australia", "we", "us"), the operator of ledger.rent, handles personal information collected through theledger.rent website and software (the "Service").
Who we are
SGF Australia Pty Ltd is the seller and operator of ledger.rent and acts as the data controller for personal information collected through the Service. Trading name: ledger.rent.

Who we share information with
- Service providers and subprocessors who help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and customer support providers.
- Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes all payments, manages subscriptions and invoicing, calculates and remits applicable taxes, and handles refund requests. When you purchase a paid plan, your billing details are collected and processed by Paddle under Paddle's own privacy terms.
- Professional advisers such as our lawyers and accountants where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities and regulators where required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect our rights.
Data retention
We retain account and rental record data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, tax, accounting, or transaction records) for up to 7 years to meet Australian legal obligations. Backups are purged on a rolling basis within 35 days.
Storage and security
Data is stored with reputable cloud providers and protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and logging. Some service providers (including Paddle) may process data outside Australia; where this occurs we rely on contractual safeguards.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may object to or restrict certain processing. You can also export your records at any time from your account. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form. You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have mishandled your personal information.
